As a part of my project, I was tasked with creating a colophon report to document my design process and outline the sources that inspired my work. The colophon report was an important opportunity for me to reflect on my design process and showcase the thought and care that went into creating my app.

In my colophon, I detailed my design process, which included prototyping, user testing, and applying feedback to the design. I explained the challenges that I faced during the design process, such as accessibility issues and usability challenges, and how I overcame them.

Additionally, I documented the sources that inspired my work, such as apps like Trainline, Uber, Citymapper, and Google Maps. These sources helped me establish the goals and vision for my app.

Finally, I included a section on the design system that I created to help accelerate my development and prototyping process. This system helped me to establish a consistent visual language and created a foundation for the app's design.

I used Adobe InDesign to create my colophon, which was a new experience for me. I had to learn about document set up, bleed lines, and sectioning off my pages to lay out my content better. While it was challenging, it allowed me to add an extra level of professionalism to my work.

One of the challenges I faced was changing the color profiles from RGB to CMYK. It took me a long time to get all my images and text changed to CMYK using Illustrator and Photoshop. However, this challenge taught me the importance of paying attention to color profiles and ensuring that all aspects of the design process are consistent.

Creating the colophon report was a valuable experience for me. It allowed me to reflect on my design process and the challenges that I faced. Additionally, it helped me to learn new skills in InDesign and gain a deeper understanding of color profiles. I am grateful for the opportunity and the chance to improve my design skills.
