To better understand what I needed to include in each section of the app, I decided to create a landscape for each section. This way I could better visualise the high-level content of each section and ensure I was including everything.
This was a rather short exercise as I had all of the content available from my Primary features tasks. It was just a matter of sliding the information and content into the most appropriate section. However, by carrying out this task I was able to move onto the next stage of my development quite easily. Having this diagram handy also allows me to go back and slide more information into each section in the future as it serves as a guide for my app design.
The next step for my project is to use this diagram to form my Sitemap and User flows. Now that I know what exactly each section will facilitate, I can design more detail into them. I can also start to visualise the user flows of certain experiences and ensure that I am designing for every scenario of usage. I will also use this information as a reference for the rest of the development process to keep me aligned with the product features and the expectations of each section.
