As a part of our course, we had the opportunity to visit Signifyd, where they gave us valuable feedback on our apps. I was thrilled to receive positive feedback on my app, and the team was impressed with my well-researched and thorough design.

However, they did suggest that I consider the scenario where someone is taking only one leg of the journey with a child or someone else and not returning with them. They suggested that I think about how these users could share tickets or QR codes. They also appreciated the favorite journeys feature that I had included, as it could be very useful for older people and children.

Additionally, they suggested that I consider adding a physical ticket as a backup in case the app fails, which is a great point to consider.

“Fantastic designs, really well researched and very thorough design. One flow to think about is someone who is taking one leg of the journey with one person such as a chile but not returning with them. How could they share tickets/QR codes? Love the favourite journeys option. Much easier for older people and children. How could you add a physical ticket to get your reward if the app fails?”

Overall, the feedback from Signifyd was incredibly useful and has given me a lot to think about as I continue to refine my app. I am grateful for the opportunity to receive this feedback and look forward to incorporating it into my design.

Takeaways

In response to the feedback from Signifyd, I added a share button to my app to address the concern of how to share tickets or QR codes with someone who is taking one leg of the journey. This feature allows users to easily share their tickets with others, even if they are not traveling with them on both legs of the journey.

I believe that incorporating feedback from industry professionals like Signifyd is critical to creating a successful and user-friendly product. By taking their suggestions into account and implementing them in my app, I have improved the overall user experience and made the app more accessible and convenient for a wider range of users.
